Salah satu yang membuat orang tidak tertarik pada kekristenan

1 Yohanes 2:6 "Barangsiapa mengatakan, bahwa ia ada di
dalam Dia, ia wajib hidup sama seperti Kristus telah hidup."
Berkat dan kehidupan yang lebih baik serta jaminan hidup kekal
kadang kala membuat orang Kristen merasa statusnya lebih tinggi dan lebih
terhormat dari yang lain, padahal semua yang kita miliki karena Kasih Karunia
Tuhan.
Sikap hidup eklusive semacam ini tidak bisa membangun hubungan
yang baik dengan masyarakat, anak anak muda sulit membaur dikarang taruna,
orang tua jarang hadir dalam kehidupan sosial lingkungan.
Bagaimana mereka bisa mencintai Yesus yang mereka belum kenal ?
Bila kita yang mereka kenal sebagai pengikutNya bersikap seperti itu ?
Mulai hari ini hiduplah sebagaimana Kristus telah hidup, belajar
dari Yesus yang sudah menjadi teladan kita, supaya melalui perbuatan kita nama
Yesus dimuliakan. Amin.
Tuhan Yesus memberkati mu.

1 John 2:6 "He who says he abides in Him ought himself also to walk just as He walked."
Thanks and a better life as well as the assurance of eternal life sometimes make Christians feel higher status and more honorable than others, but all that we have because of God's Grace.
Such an exclusive attitude to life can not build a good relationship with the community, young children difficult to blend composed of cadets, parents rarely present in the social life of the neighborhood.
How could they not love Jesus that they know? If we as His followers know that they behave like that?
Starting today live as Christ lived, learned from Jesus that has become our model, so that through our actions glorified the name of Jesus. Amen.
